David Cobo, Chief Executive Officer
Dave is a 30-year veteran of the real estate industry and has been instrumental in leading Prudential California/Nevada/Texas Realty to its current stature as the eighth largest real estate brokerage firm in the nation. Dave is dedicated to aggressively growing the company while maintaining its core values. He has expanded the company to offer a one-stop-shop for real estate transactions with its Family of Services, as well as overseen the growth to more than 60 offices. Prior to real estate, Dave was a professor of History and Government, receiving his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from San Francisco State University. He also is a member of the Board of Directors for the Contra Costa Board of Realtors.
Ed Krafchow, President
Through Ed's leadership, traditional real estate service and progressive technology have been blended to create an environment that helps agents and clients succeed. Through his vision, Prudential California/Nevada/Texas Realty was the first to provide real estate professionals with a web based Intranet – The WebTop. Partnered with Dave Cobo, Ed has led the company to unparalleled growth, quadrupling the company's assets since taking over in 1991. Ed has been named one of the real industry’s Most Influential People by Inman News. A frequent national speaker on several industry-related topics, he has been identified by the California Association of Realtors as one of California's top brokers and recognized as a technological leader by the Employee Relocation Council. Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from UCLA.
Valerie Mapes, Regional Manager & Vice President, Prudential Nevada Realty
Valerie oversees the day to day operations for Prudential Nevada Realty and is the Broker Manager of the Virginia Branch. Since taking this position six years ago, grew the region by 30 percent and doubled the size of the Virginia Street office. Prior to joining Prudential Nevada Realty, Valerie owned and managed a real estate Company in La Canada, California and has worked in residential and commercial real estate for almost 30 years, including 14 years with Getty Oil Company’s Corporate Headquarters Real Estate Division.
Joe Coute, Chief Administrative Officer
Joe joined the company in 2006 as our Human Resources Director. He brings almost 30 years of professional experience in operations and human resources from Bank of America, Westaff, and in the conduct of his own consulting firm, Coute & Associates. While maintaining his responsibility for our HR department, Joe was promoted to oversee the operations of our corporate administrative departments in support of achieving our companywide short and long term goals for profitability, accountability and quality service delivery
Michael Levedahl, Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Michael is responsible for the financial operations of the company, including financial planning and reporting, compliance, budgeting, accounting and tax. A CPA with extensive finance and management background, Michael joined the company in January of 2003. Michael has over 25 years of real estate industry experience. Prior to joining Prudential California/Nevada/Texas, Michael held positions as Chief Operating Officer for Inspectech Corporation, a national residential and commercial property inspection company, and was Divisional Vice President of Operations for Century 21 Real Estate Corporation. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and graduate of the University of California, Haas School of Business.
Dave Wilson, Chief Information Officer
Dave manages the information technology department and is responsible for setting technology strategy, development and maintenance of our public websites, company Intranet/WebTop application, technology training, support services, infrastructure and connectivity. He has more than 25 years experience overseeing technology teams, most recently with Westaff, Inc.
Darren Hall, Vice President, Business Development
Darren joined the firm in 1981 and has extensive knowledge in all areas of its operation. He began his career working in the areas of finance, accounting and technology. Darren currently focuses his time and energy in the areas of strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, affiliated business arrangements, vertical business planning, annual forecasting and budgeting. Darren is responsible for documenting all firm business relationships.
Cathy Harrington, Director of Marketing
Cathy oversees the development and execution of all internal and external marketing initiatives for real estate agents in three states. She is responsible for the integration of marketing and technology as well as for all aspects of marketing, public relations and communication for the company. She was instrumental in developing the company’s website and a proprietary online print shop for the company's agents. She has 20 years of proven real estate marketing and public relations experience. Prior to joining the company, she held marketing positions with HomeGain.com and Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Company. Cathy received a bachelor of arts degree in English literature from the University of California at Berkeley.
Linda Howard, President of Network Services
Linda is responsible for relocation, corporate services, affinity marketing, online lead generation, TradeMark License Network and REOs. Prior to joining the company, she was a real estate broker with Kiernan Realtors and TRI Realtors. Linda has served on the advisory council for Relocation Resources International and Prudential Relocation. She holds the SCRP designation with Employee Relocation Council (ERC), and serves on three ERC boards: board of directors, coalition board and foundation board. Linda is a featured speaker at many national relocation conferences and is involved in cancer fundraising. She has a degree from UC Davis.
