Introductory Training Session

This is the starting place for all new Prudential Nevada Realty sales associates. The process for getting into the training session begins when you bring to the branch office your receipt for passing the Nevada Department of Real Estate examination. Upon the branch manager's approval, you are accepted into the training.

Introductory Training is built on our organization’s Four Core Principles: Vision, Accountability, Personal Responsibility, and Commitment.

The seven-day session covers a broad overview of what it’s like to be a real estate agent, providing valuable insight into our company and the many resources we offer our agents. Classes are structured in modules. There are breaks throughout the day, including at least one hour for lunch.  After graduation from the first-level training, agents are enrolled in a four-week 'Productivity Training' that meets for eight, 2-hour sessions.

Outside real estate training activities are required in between the eight sessions. Emphasis is given to prospecting methods, making presentations, and correctly filling out all of the required forms.

Subjects

Training subjects include: contracts, inspections, finance, marketing, technology tools, an introduction to our mortgage, title, and insurance “Family of Services” partners, personal growth and development, and much more.  Managers or agents who specialize in these areas deliver the training.

Where

Training is held at the Administrative Office of Prudential Nevada Realty, 4990 S. Virginia Street, Reno, at First Centennial Title, 1450 Ridgeview Drive, Reno, and the Northern Nevada Regional MLS, 5650 Riggins Court, Reno.

When

Training is held every month except December. Sessions typically begin on the second Monday for one full week and then Monday and Tuesday of the following week. Sometimes holidays and other schedule activities change the training schedule, so check with your manager regarding upcoming classes. Classes are structured in modules. There are breaks throughout the day, including at least one hour for lunch.

Cost

Introductory training is covered by the initial $100 marketing fee that agents pay when they join.
